Hi, I'm Sean Carter and I'm a wedding photographer from Lansing, Michigan

My journey as a photographer has been anything but conventional. It all began during my high school days, where I worked at Pizza Hut to earn some extra cash. After high school, I followed my passion for music and pursued a degree in the subject. However, life had different plans for me.

In 2016 I married to my best friend Emily, who is an integral part of my photography. She is the one who inspired me to pursue my passion, and you may just get to meet her at your session.

Driven by a desire to serve my community, I made a pivot and enrolled in the police academy. As a police officer, I witnessed the raw emotions and fleeting moments that shape our lives.

It wasn't until later that I circled back to photography, realizing that it had always been my true calling. I took the leap and founded Carter Creations Photography. Since then, I have been on an incredible journey, capturing the most intimate and heartfelt moments for my clients.

MY PROCESS

I really enjoy getting to know all of my clients and making them laugh. Everyone has a story to tell and doing this job allows me to get to know them and take photos that will give them joy for decades.

I take great pleasure in connecting with each of my clients, delving into their unique stories, and bringing laughter into our interactions. Capturing their essence through photography not only allows me to know them better but also ensures that the moments we create together become cherished memories.
