Model Shoot in Holly

Recently I was able to go on a model shoot in Holly, Michigan with the PPOM. I had the privilege of being able to learn alongside other professional photographers on some new techniques on how to make female models look better. For almost two hours I was able to observe and think about new ways on how to position women anything from posture to finding unique places around town to place the models in.

We were privileged to have three women come out and let us practice our photography skills on them. A lot of the techniques we learned were reminders such as how to angle female versus male models, how to place their hands, feet etc. Putting your models at east is is also critical but I of course have an amazing personality so that’s not too difficult for me.

During the time that we were shooting, it was evening and was during a break in a major rain storm that was happening that day. It was a pleasure learning from well known photographers in the area and working with the models who were very patient with all of us taking photos of them.
